BABY CARD

I loved the look of the baby dresser card but it seemed to flat to me ,  so I changed it up a bit by embossing the drawers and the moldings.  I also  made a card template and  added a molding on the bottom of the dresser.  This card is originally  a Stampin up card but if you want the template I created just send me an email.

GIANT BUBBLES THAT REALLY WORK

Another great idea  from pinterest.  I am taking care of my grandchildren for a week while their parents are on vacation.  I wanted to find some fun things for them to make it into a mini vacation.   I found many recipes for these giant bubble.  In the end I used the most basic one.  6 cups water, 2 cups dawn dish soap and 1 cup of corn syrop.  The following pictures were the results of this experiment.

MEDICAL GRADUATE OR THANK YOU CARD

My niece recently graduated from nursing and I wanted to make her a special card.  I had seen  a few versions of this card, so I decided to make my own template for the shirt and all the medical equipment.
I got the  images off the net and used  MTC to cut them out.

TEENAGE BOY CARD

Yesterday I posted a  mountain dew cake I made for my friends grandson, this is the birthday card that I made for the same 14 year old.
It is a 5 X 7 card.  The graffiti background is a picture I took from the net and embossed with my sizzix brick folder.   The skateboarder is a stampin up stamp which I cut out from MTC

SOME TIMES A PLAIN CAKE WON'T DEW

My best friends grandson was having his 14th birthday and was a big mountain dew fan. I had seen some fantastic beer can cakes and decided to make him a mountain dew birthday cake.  I used cardboard circles and covered them with dollar store black mactac and then glued on the mountain dew  cartons cut in the same size circles.  The circles were 12" , 9 " and 6" .  It is is bit tricky making the cans into a round shape.
It took 28 cans.

PHOTO CARDS

Last Christmas I  made   a window and door card for a friend using photos of him.   This is a great way to personalize a card, not just for Christmas but any occasion. Especially if you don't  get to see the person you are sending it to, very often.
I used Tim Holts window die , the brick embossing folder was sizzix and  I cut the door and other accessories using make the cut.

SCRAPBOOKS , ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I decided when I did my scrapbooks for my three sons that I wanted to have a foreword and a note about the author.    I typed them out to fit  in the  clear plastic folds on the inside of the  front and back covers.
